PureSurf: bio-based high-performance surfactants

PureSurf FlexCo is an Austrian deep-tech company commercialising PureSynth, a green-chemistry platform for bio-based surfactants and specialty ingredients from renewable feedstocks. Product families: NEXOVANT (bio-based amine oxide surfactants, grades F Pro and F Eco), RHEOSYL (additive-free gelator and rheology modifier) and SYLVAXIS (bio-based broad-spectrum antimicrobial active).

Key data: NEXOVANT F Pro shows 14× lower aquatic toxicity and F Eco 57× lower aquatic toxicity than the conventional amine oxide benchmark (EC50, Aliivibrio fischeri, ISO 11348-3:2007, 30 min, GLP). Readily biodegradable (OECD 301F, GLP), non-mutagenic (OECD 471, GLP), non-corrosive to skin (OECD 431, GLP).
